Wyldwood Cottage is a cosy upside-down cottage in the Forest of Dean with peaceful forest views and a private hot tub. It sleeps four and is perfect for dog-friendly getaways, whether you’re a couple, a family or a small group of friends.
Upstairs, a bright, open layout brings everything together : a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy dining nook, and a comfortable lounge with Smart TV and fast WiFi. Thoughtful touches like soft blankets, a welcome board, and a small selection of books and games add a personal , relaxed feel.
Downstairs, you will find a king bedroom with an ensuite plus a flexible second bedroom that can be set as a king or two singles. A full bathroom sits nearby, keeping the layout simple and convenient for couples, families or friends travelling together.
Outside, the terrace is perfect for leisurely meals or a quiet break, with far-reaching forest views. The nature trail starts right outside, and the woods are just a 10 minute walk away. The secluded hot tub sits behind a fence, tucked away so you can unwind in privacy. While people may pass by, the fencing ensures you stay out of sight. The courtyard is set to faux grass, making it easy to enjoy year around.
Wyldwood Cottage welcomes up to two dogs, and we provide a thoughtfully prepared dog box with everything they need : snug blankets, fluffy towels, howls, poo bags, an “I’m on holiday” dog tag and a handmade tug toy. Scenic walks start right from the door, and the wooldland setting makes it easty to enjoy time outside.
The cottage is also eco-friendly, with underfloor heating upstairs and radiators downstairs powered by an air source heat pump, keeping it comfortable all year around.
The corner shop and several pubs are within walking distance, and all the best walks, attractions, and eateries are just a short drive away. Everything you need for a simple, cosy stay.
