Explore Dymock and Kempley’s The Daffodil Way
If you love flowers, nature and unique experiences here is one for your Bucket List! If you’re looking for a romantic break or you’re a fan of breathtaking floral displays then you’re in for a real treat this Spring. Nestled in the villages of Dymock and Kempley in the Forest of Dean is a picturesque corner of the world known as The Golden Triangle where from mid-March to early April you can explore The Daffodil Way one of the best places to see wild daffodils in Britian.
Every year the villages of Dymock and Kempley are transformed into a floral haven drawing visitors from all over to stroll amongst the beautiful blooms. Imagine green pastures, shaded woodland glades and orchards full of vibrant yellow blooms gently swaying in the breeze. Walkers can explore at their own pace following the 9-mile circular trail The Daffodil Way (please see the link to the Daffodil Way App and Daffodil Way Walking Route below) Twice a day tours are available for those who would like to walk the route with a knowledgeable Guide.

Kempley Daffodil Weekend
Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th March 2024
Enjoy daffodil teas, bacon butties, guided walks and the daff-and-ride bus.
St. Edward’s Church – Walks and hot drinks from 9:30am
Village Hall – Food and Drink served from 10:30 am – 4:30pm
Dymock Daffodil Weekend & Spring Fayre
Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st March 2024
Guided walks will leave at 11am and 2:30pm.
Refreshments will be available including bacon baps and cream scones.
Top Tips for Your Visit
Timing Matters – The best time to witness the daffodil displays is typically from mid-March to early April.
Plan Ahead – the links in this blog should help you to plan your trip.
Camera Ready – Don’t forget your camera or smartphone. You’ll want to capture the beauty of your surroundings and any wildlife you may spot.
Respect Nature – While enjoying the display of wild flowers please remember to respect the environment and wildlife follow any guidelines including staying on the paths. Follow the Leave No Trace principles.
Weather Ready – The weather around this time can sometimes be unpredictable. Make sure that you wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a lightweight, waterproof coat in case of spring showers.
