Wyldwood Cottage is a warm and comfortable upside down house with lovely views of the forest and a relaxed, homely feel. It sleeps four and suits couples with dogs, small families or friends who want an easy, welcoming place to settle in and enjoy time together.
The forest views are one of the first things you notice here. The upstairs living space opens out through French doors onto a Juliet balcony, giving you a calm outlook whether you are enjoying morning coffee or a quiet evening in.
The upstairs layout brings everything together in a bright, open space. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy dining nook and a comfortable lounge with a smart TV and fast Wi Fi. Snuggly blankets, a welcome message board and a small selection of books and games help make the space feel relaxed and personal.
Downstairs, you will find a king bedroom with an ensuite and a flexible second bedroom that can be set as a king or two singles. A full bathroom sits nearby, making the layout simple and convenient for couples, family members or friends travelling together.
Outside, the terrace has seating for gentle meals or a quiet drink. The secluded hot tub sits behind a fence and feels tucked away, giving you a peaceful space to unwind. People may pass by outside, but the fencing means you cannot be seen while you are in the water. The courtyard is set to faux grass and is easy to use throughout the year.
Wyldwood Cottage welcomes up to two dogs, and we prepare a dog box with everything they need. Snuggly blankets, fluffy towels, bowls, poo bags, an “I’m on holiday” dog tag and a handmade tug toy are all included. Scenic walks start from the door, and the woodland setting makes it simple to enjoy time outside together.
The cottage is also eco friendly, with underfloor heating and an air source heat pump upstairs, and radiators to keep the bedrooms warm downstairs. It stays comfortable in all seasons without any fuss.
A corner shop and a pub are within walking distance, and more walks, attractions and places to eat sit within a short drive. Everything you need for a simple, cosy stay is close by.
