Nestled in the villages of Dymock and Kempley in the Forest of Dean is a picturesque corner known as the Golden Triangle, where from March to early April you can explore the Daffodil Way, one of the best places in Britain to see wild daffodils in full bloom.
Each year, these quiet villages are transformed into a natural spectacle. Green pastures, shaded woodland glades and traditional orchards come alive with vibrant yellow blooms, gently swaying in the spring breeze. The 9-mile circular Daffodil Way can be explored at your own pace, with plenty of opportunities to pause, take it all in, and enjoy the surroundings. For those who prefer a little more insight along the way, guided walks are also available.
1. A Scenic 9-Mile Circular Walking Route
The Daffodil Way is a gentle 9-mile circular trail linking the villages of Dymock and Kempley. The route takes you through open countryside, woodland, orchards and quiet lanes, making it ideal for a relaxed day of walking rather than a strenuous hike.
2. The Golden Triangle in Full Bloom
This area is affectionately known as the Golden Triangle thanks to its incredible seasonal display of wild daffodils. Between March and early April, the fields and verges become a sea of yellow, creating one of the most memorable floral landscapes in the UK.

Enjoy daffodil teas, bacon butties, guided walks and the daff-and-ride bus.
St. Edward’s Church – Walks and hot drinks from 9:30am

Guided walks will leave at 11am and 2:30pm.
Refreshments will be available including bacon baps and cream teas.
